Wizard World St. Louis Comic Con arrives in St. Louis March 22-24

St. Louis is proud to announce it has been added to the 2013 schedule of Wizard World Comic Con. In just a few short weeks, fangirls and fanboys can breathe the same air as some of the word’s top names in pop culture.

The inaugural 2013 Wizard World St. Louis Comic Con, March 22-24, will bring together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop-fi, pop culture, movies, graphic novels, comics, toys, video gaming, television, sci-fi, gaming, original art, collectibles, contests and more.

Oh-My-Gosh … please do not faint, but Stan Lee, celeb of all celebs in the comic-book world, is scheduled to attend! This great “mind of awesomeness” co-created Spider-Man, X-Men, the Avengers, Fantastic Four and many others – HELLO!

Others slated to appear include Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian); Dean Cain (Superman); our own STL WWE wrestling icon, Randy Orton; James Marsters (Buffy The Vampire Slayer); Ernie Hudson (Ghostbusters); and the one, the only Lou Ferrigno (The Incredible Hulk).

Over 85 comic book creators, artists and writers will be on-hand at St. Louis Comic Con. Neal Adams (Batman,Green Lantern), Rick Burchett (Wonder Woman, The Flash), Cullen Bunn (Wolverine, Avenging Spider-Man), Jorge Molina (X-Men, Fear Itself) and Chris Samnee (Daredevil, Before Watchmen) are among the who’s who.

Wizard World produces Comic Cons and pop culture conventions across North America that celebrate graphic novels, comic books, movies, TV shows, gaming, technology, toys and social networking. The events often feature celebrities from movies and TV, artists and writers, and events such as premieres, gaming tournaments, panels, and costume contests – hmm maybe dress as Mork from Ork, Nanu Nanu!

Wizard World St. Louis Comic Con show hours are Friday, March 22, 3-8 p.m.; Saturday, March 23, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.; and Sunday March 24, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tickets are $30 and up, kids under 10 are admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult.
