Whew, made it through the week and now it’s time to have some fun.

It’s circus time in St. Louis as the Ringling Bros. And Barnum & Bailey: But To Amaze offers up amazing performances. Circus performers from across the globe create the perfect blend of athleticism and bravery, where power meets fearlessness and amazement has no bounds. Magnificent elephants, ferocious tigers, astonishing acrobats and awe-inspiring aerialists are engineered into this spectacular performance.

What’s bugging you?  Well, find out at the Science Center’s new Harry’s Big Adventure: My Bug World! exhibit.Journey through the habitats, sights, sounds and social structures of some of the ecosystem’s smallest – yet most important – visitors. Explore freestanding interactive habitats such as a cropland, forest, meadow, swamp and a life-size house to see how insects impact their surroundings, the environment and human lives.

Jumpin’ pumpkin BATMAN! Eckert’s Farm is the place to be for the Jumpin Pumpkin Jamboree including wagon rides out to the great pumpkin patch. Pumpkins range from a couple of pounds to more than 150 pounds! After you find the one just right for your family, enjoy country music, live entertainment, pony rides, funnel cakes and festival foods,

The Conservatory at the Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House will be full of eyes—eyespots that is—during Owls and Orchids! The Butterfly House expands its collection of Owl Butterflies from 100 to over 1,000 creatures – more than ten times the normal number! In addition, the conservatory will be decorated with over 100 colorful, blooming orchids. Whoo, Whoo is going?

Head to the Fox Theatre, in the Grand Center Arts and Entertainment District, for your much needed culture fix.  This new production of Evita tells Eva Perón’s passionate and unforgettable true story, and features some of theater’s most beautiful songs, including “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina,” “Another Suitcase in Another Hall” and “High Flying, Adored.”
