Happy Friday! Here are five things you won’t want to miss in St. Louis this weekend:

Saint Louis Science Center: Air racers (3/9-3/30)
Feel the need…the need for speed? Climb in the cockpit of a WWII plane and experience the intensity and high speed thrills of a sporting event like no other in the new OMNIMAX presentation ‘Air Racers’ opening at the Saint Louis Science Center this weekend. The new show narrated by Paul Walker of “The Fast and The Furious,” ‘Air Racers’ takes the audience on a ride along as elite pilots takes everyone into the skies of Europe in a World War II aerial battle and to a National Championship Air Race.

Arch Madness at Scottrade Center (3/8-3/10)
You know it’s March in St. Louis when basketballs are bouncing at the Scottrade Center. This year’s Missouri Valley Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament pumps up collegiate hoops excitement for four days and nine games as Bradley, Creighton, Drake, Evansville, Illinois State, Indiana State, Missouri State, Northern Iowa, Southern Illinois and Wichita State take it to the hardwood to battle for an automatic bid to the “Big Dance,” aka the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. If you don’t have tickets don’t worry Fans can hangout with food and drink specials, merchandise and other exclusive promotions all on tap at the Missouri Valley Conference Fan Hangout on the lower level of the Sheraton City Center hotel

New York City Ballet MOVES at the Fabulous Fox Theatre (3/9-3/10)
Coming to the Fabulous Fox Theatre for the first time since 1994, this high respected group bring to the stage a modern masterpiece. Deemed “The foremost creative ballet troupe in the world” by the New York times, New York Ballet MOVES is made up of 20 principals, soloists and corps de ballet.

Orchid Show: Madagascar at the Missouri Botanical Garden (3/8-3/31)
The plants in your yard may be brown and lifeless, but you can escape the Missouri winter and journey to the tropical island nation of Madagascar where you will enjoy beautiful, fragrant flowers during the Missouri Botanical Garden annual Orchid Show this weekend! This year visitors will get a peak at life in Madagascar as native plants, artifacts, water falls fill the 5,000 square foot Orthwein Flora Display Hall. Open daily from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tickets are $5 plus price of Garden Admission

Schlafly Oyster & Stout Festival at the Schafly Tap Room (3/8-3/9)
You’ll definitely want to head over to the Schlafly Tap Room this weekend for their annual Oyster & Stout Festival. The restaurant fly’s in 30,000 fresh oysters and teams of star shuckers from East and West Coasts. You will be able to indulge in several varieties of oysters and pair them with 3 styles of Schlafly Stout: Oatmeal Stout, Coffee Stout and Nitro Irish Stout
