Happy Friday! It’s time for another fun-filled weekend in St. Louis. If you are still pulling your plans together for the weekend, here are a few suggestions to help.
2nd Annual Pumpkin Fest 2016 | October 8
Join O’Fallon Brewery at our pumpkin patch Pumpkin Fest! We’ll be featuring ALL 6 of our Pumpkin varieties, some of our year round favorites and even something new! Tickets include keepsake glass and beer. General Admission $30 in advance, $35 at the door. (Under 21 and DD, free admission.)
Ottertoberfest | October 8 – 9
Enjoy an otterly fun fall celebration at the Saint Louis Zoo! The Zoo will be transformed into an Oktoberfest for the whole family with otter-related games and activities for kids, keeper chats and enrichment, and live traditional music.
Featuring three star choreographers and three award-winning fashion designers, “Vision: Where Ballet + Fashion Meet,” is a mash-up of cutting-edge fashion and dance. Testing the limits of classical ballet while also remaining true to the fundamentals of technique.
“Fall into Science” is unlike any other harvest event, celebrating foods of the harvest season. Sunday is the
A-MAIZE-ING Corn Fest including: sweet corn ice cream and wood hat whiskey tasting, a corn salsa demonstration and ethanol with enthusiasm.
Wolf Fest | October 8
This annual open house event offers a full look at the facility. A kids’ area will include games, crafts, and a bounce house. Catch one of three shows throughout the day that will showcase exotic animals, such as an African crested porcupine, a slow loris, a kinkajou, and a screech owl. Food from Curbside Cookery, St. LouisianaQ, and Seoul Taco food trucks will be available for purchase. And for a small fee, kids can scale a rock-climbing wall. Admittance is $25 a carload.
