5 Things To Do This Weekend in St. Louis 10/14 – 10/16

Happy Friday! It’s time for another fun-filled weekend in St. Louis. If you are still pulling your plans together for the weekend, here are a few suggestions to help.

Rock ‘N’ Roll St. Louis Half Marathon | October 15 – 16

Marking its sixth year, the Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon returns to St. Louis this weekend. This running festival features local bands performing along the course, a complimentary post-race beer, a headlining concert by The Urge and a scenic course through historic Downtown St. Louis. Runners have the option of choosing to run the 5K on Oct. 15 or the 10K and half marathon, both on Oct. 16.

Bob Schneider at The Old Rock House | October 15

At the Old Rock House Austin-based singer/songwriter/rocker Bob Schneider takes the stage. His band features Oliver Steck, who plays keyboards, accordion, trumpet, and assorted whistles, and “also dances a lot” which he may or not get paid for. Doors open at 7, $20.

Harvest Festival | October 16

Celebrate the 10th annual Harvest Festival with Sauce Magazine and Laumeier Sculpture Park on Sunday. The festival features food and beverage from some of St. Louis’ top restaurants, live music, locally made arts and crafts and a farmers market. Admission is $8-$10, while children ages 10 and under receive free admission.

South Grand Chalk Walk | October 15

Visit the South Grand neighborhood on Saturday, Oct. 15, to make your mark and create your very own chalk masterpiece. Whether you’re a professional, amateur, child or adult, you’re invited to let your artistic side shine through and celebrate everything that South Grand has to offer.

Halloween at Grant’s Farm | October 13 – 16

Get into the Halloween spirit with some spooky fun and celebrate with the animals at Grant’s Farm. Enjoy Halloween-themed shows, a DJ in the Bauernhof courtyard and dark Deer Park rides.
