Happy Friday! It’s time for another fun-filled weekend in St. Louis. If you are still pulling your plans together for the weekend, here are a few suggestions to help.

Oktoberfest at Soulard Farmers Market | October 21 – 22

The reincarnated Soulard’s Oktoberfest kicks off on Friday, Oct. 21 at Soulard Market Park & Plaza. Featuring beer, food, live music, a 5k run, German dancers and much more, this family-friendly festival also serves as a fundraiser for the Soulard Business Association, Soulard Restoration Group and Soulard School. Tickets are available, starting at $10.

GlobalHack VI | October 21 – 23

GlobalHack VI will bring together developers, designers, technologists and entrepreneurs from around the world to solve a single, massive civic technology problem revealed at the beginning of the hackathon. More than 2,500 participants across youth, collegiate, and pro divisions will work in teams to solve the problem by building software solutions over the course of an entire weekend.

Halloween at Grant’s Farm | October 21 – 30

Get into the Halloween spirit with some spooky fun and celebrate with the animals at Grant’s Farm. Enjoy Halloweenthemed shows, a DJ in the Bauernhof Courtyard and dark Deer Park rides. Guests are encouraged to bring flashlights
to search for animals.

Bands of America Super Regional at St. Louis | October 21 – 22

Each fall, Music For All, Inc. presents Bands of America Championships across the country. The Bands of America Super Regional will invade The Dome at America’s Center with 36 bands. Come watch, listen and cheer on the bandsas they march in their pursuit of performance excellence.

Hermann Oktoberfest | October 22 – 30

A short drive from St. Louis, is the Hermann Oktoberfest. The town celebrates its German roots all year long, but the small town along the Missouri River really comes to life each weekend in October. Every weekend in October, there is live music, lively crowds, an Oktoberfest biergarten in Seqicentennial Park on Gutenberg Street, plenty of german food and winery specials at Stone Hill and Hermannhof.
