National Blues Museum: A Cast of Blues | July 2 – December 9

If you haven’t visited the National Blues Museum here’s another reason too! The Mississippi-based artist Sharon McConnell-Dickerson will be displaying life casts of 40 blues musicians from all over the nation, including St. Louis’ Big George Brock and Henry Townsend that she created. This exhibit has traveled to Mississippi, France, and Alabama, and it was on view at St. Louis’ own Griot Black History Museum and the Blues Hall of Fame in Memphis.

Circus Flora Pastime | thru July 3

This weekend is your last chance to catch Circus Flora this season as their big top production paying tribute to our nation’s pastime comes to a close on July 3. So grab your team and head to Grand Center for one last swing at the fences.

Nomad Studio’s Green Air | Through August 21

If you haven’t been to the Contemporary Art Museum (CAM) this spring, then might we suggest a visit. In addition to their inspiring array of exhibits, the New York-based Nomad Studio’s Green Air installation is truly something to behold in the CAM’s spectacular courtyard. You’ll definitely be rethinking everything you thought you knew about horticulture after seeing this display that includes two thousand slices of wood suspended from a trellis with amazing greenery attached to each.
