Happy Friday! It’s time for another fun-filled weekend in St. Louis. If you are still pulling your plans together, here are a few suggestions to help make this a memorable weekend.
Legends of the Dome | July 23
Football fans can relive great memories of the Greatest Show on Turf with Kurt Warner, Dick Vermeil, Mike Martz, Torry Holt, Ricky Proehl, Az Hakim, Mike Jones, and many more as they return to St. Louis for the Legends of the Dome flag football showdown led by Isaac Bruce at The Dome at America’s Center on Saturday, July 23 at 2 p.m. All money raised will benefit the Isaac Bruce Foundation.
St. Louis’ fascinating history and groundbreaking architecture is featured in a walk around downtown led by experienced volunteer guides from Landmarks Association and ReVitalize St. Louis. Every Saturday through October. No reservations required. For the East Tour, meet at the foot of the stairs of The Old Courthouse, Broadway entrance. $10 per adult, free for children under 12. The 2016 St. Louis Cabaret Festival | Thru July 24
When the cabaret culture began in 1881 with the opening of Le Chat Noir in Paris, no one could have predicted its impact on entertainment across the globe. This week, the Cabaret Project of St. Louis helps to celebrate that tradition with the 2016 St. Louis Cabaret Festival (now until July 24) featuring special events and performances by both local and national talents. Just a few of the acts joining in the fun include Tony Award-winner Faith Prince, Jason Graae, St. Louis favorite Ann Hampton Callaway and the classic stylings of Mr. Tony DeSare.
Color Brought to Life Exhibit | Thru Oct 8
The International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum welcomes you to witness the genius of photographer Ernst Haas as they present the ‘Color Brought to Life Exhibit’ that examines his groundbreaking work as a pioneer of color photography. You will marvel at his abstract aesthetic, use of color, and innovative use of technology that spanned his influential 40-year career.
