Murmuration Festival | September 23 – 25

Murmuration Festival is a three-day event exploring the convergence of art, music, science and tech. The festival features cutting-edge musical performances, a STL Innovators Showcase, art competition, Maker Expo, as well as talks and discussions from influential speakers and national thought leaders. Discover future innovators, experience multi-media presentations, and even grab a snack from local eateries.

Q in the Lou BBQ Festival | September 23 – 25

Q in the Lou is a celebration of the best barbecue in America, with cooking tutorials, a BBQ innovations expo, amateur cooking contests and live local music.

St. Louis Folk & Roots Festival | September 23 – 25

The fifth annual St. Louis Folk and Roots Festival kicks off on Thursday, Sept. 22 and runs through Saturday, Sept. 24. This three-day festival features performances from Jim Kweskin & Geoff Muldaur, Hubby Jenkins and Elephant Revival. Individual tickets and festival passes are both available.

Strange Folk Festival | September 24 – 25

Strange Folk Festival, the popular St. Louis indie craft fair in Lafayette Square, is back again this year. This unique art and storytelling event features 10 live bands, a curated selection of over 200 makers as well as DIY activities for the whole family.

Oktoberfest St. Louis | September 23 – 25

Urban Chestnut’s 6th annual St. Louis Oktoberfest will begin on Friday, Sept. 23 and extend through Sunday, Sept. 25th at the Midtown Brewery & Biergarten at 3229 Washington Ave. The event will feature German food, live music and beer. Admission is free.

St. Louis Scottish Games and Cultural Festival | 23 – 24

Don’t miss the opportunity to experience all things Scottish including highland athletics, bagpipes, folk music, food and drink, crafts, dancing, sheepdog trials and more.
