Passion: His home teams: the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Blues hockey club. And, of course, acting. Jon was bit by the acting bug in high school where he also was a standout baseball and football star. After graduating from the University of Missouri (where he appeared in a TV commercial promoting Mizzou), he returned to his high school alma mater to teach drama. One of his students there was future star Ellie Kemper.
