25th Annual Irish County Fair

September 11, 11:00 am TO 7:00 pm | St. James Catholic Church

The Ancient Order of Hibernians will hold the 25th annual “Irish Country Fair”, Sunday, September 11, at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, 6401 Wade at Tamm, in South St. Louis’ Dogtown neighborhood. The event features Irish music and dance, children’s activities, an Irish Market, food, beverages, booths and games.
A portion of the proceeds from this year’s event will be donated to Ballwin Police Officer Michael Flamion, who paralyzed from the neck down after a being wounded in the line of duty in July.
A number of Irish music groups will perform including the Irish Aires, Irish Session Players, Pat White and Dan Tevlin. Featured Irish dance groups include Meghan Torno School of Irish Dance O’Faoláin Academy of Irish Dance, Clark Academy of Irish Dance and Clarkson School of Irish Dance.
The fair runs from Noon until 7:00 p.m. and will move indoors in case of rain. Admission is free and there is plenty of free parking. Bring lawn chair and enjoy, but please no coolers.
