Rosenberg Film Series | Holocaust Museum and Learning Center August 28 Directed by Bob Fosse USA, 1972, 124 minutes This movie musical explores Nazi ascendency in the waning days of the Weimar Republic through the lens of a Berlin cabaret and its patrons and employees, including the passionate and poignant American singer, Sally Bowles. Winner of eight Academy Awards including Best Director, Best Actress (Liza Minnelli) and Best Supporting Actor (Joel Grey.) Introductory remarks and post-screening discussion facilitated by educator and author David Benkof, who has a master’s degree in modern Jewish history from Stanford focusing on the Holocaust.
