Maya Cafe 15th Anniversary Rock-n-Roll Shrimp Boil
The Rock-N- Roll Shrimp Boil marks Maya Café’s 15th Anniversary of serving the most authentic South/Central American Cuisine. Over the 15 years Maya Café has gained notoriety for their eccentric décor (from the upside down Christmas tree and Dia de Muertos shrine to the old Michigan fishing boat on the rear patio) as well as their food and drink, racking up accolades from Sauce, The RFT, Alive Magazine, St. Louis Magazine, and most recently winning The Best of Taste of Maplewood the last two years running.
This is the second year for the Rock-N- Roll Shrimp Boil and includes free live music by several talented St. Louis musicians, fan favorite cuisine and cocktails, and lots and lots of shrimp! This year the Maya Café proudly presents two stages of phenomenal entertainment, featuring performances by Race Simmons & Connor Low, Tommy Halloran’s Guerrilla Swing, Old Man Boo, The Rival Brothers, Bob Koehler, John Boldaun, and more. There is no charge for entertainment although tips for the artists are encouraged.
After 15 years the Maya Café has grown and endured many challenges, and we are happy to say we are stronger than ever. This party is our way to celebrate and pay tribute to all who have made Maya Café great.
The shrimp boil meal is $19.95 and includes a bucket filled with shrimp, crawfish, Andouille sausage, corn, and potatoes. An abbreviated menu will also be available as well as our full bar.
