St. Louis is home of one of the Midwest’s largest PrideFest celebrations. Going strong since 1981, St. Louis’ PrideFest takes place June 23rd and 24th and draws more than 80,000 supporters of the LGBT market from throughout the region. The festival includes a food court, kids and family area, dance pavilion, and a main stage featuring performances from local and national acts. The colorful PrideFest parade is held Sunday, at noon and last about two hours. The parade begins at the corner of Utah and Grand Avenue and then continues up Grand to the entrance to the leafy Tower Grove Park.
