After all the presents are opened and the stockings are unloaded on Christmas Day, you may be looking for something else to do with your family and friends. Here are a few suggestions to help keep the holiday spirit all day long.

Holiday Light Displays

Both Santa’s Magical Kingdom and Winter Wonderland are open on Christmas Day night, so check out the twinkling lights.

Blueberry Hill in the Delmar Loop

St. Louis’ own Blueberry Hill is open every day of the year. If you’re looking for a place to hang out and have a few beers, this is it. Blueberry Hill serves a full menu from 6 p.m. to midnight, and the bar stays open until 1:30 a.m.


The Ritz-Carlton in Clayton is serving a gourmet holiday brunch on Christmas Day, with an extravagant buffet of seasonal culinary delights and holiday favorites for every member of the family. Four Seasons St. Louis

Cielo’s Restaurant at the Four Seasons St. Louis is offering both Christmas Day brunch (10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.) and dinner (5:30-9:30 p.m.) with all the holiday trimmings. Brunch will feature a carving station with roasted prime rib, ham with honey mustard glaze and pheasant. Omni Majestic Hotel

Skating at Steinberg Skating Rink

Want to work off a few calories after the big Christmas feast, then head over to Steinberg Skating Rink in Forest Park for some fun. The ice rink is open extended hours from 10 a.m. to midnight Dec. 19 – Jan. 3, including Christmas Day.
