St. Louis offers a variety of ways to tempt Lady Luck these days. River City Casino is St. Louis’ newest gateway to an unforgettable gaming experience. The $380 million multi-use complex casino, which opened in 2010, is located just 10 miles south of downtown St. Louis in nearby Lemay. Decked out with the look of a Missouri riverboat town, the 90,000-square-foot casino offers more than 2,000 slot machines, 55 table games, an entertainment venue and a variety of dining options.
Borrowing its name from the historic Louisiana Purchase Exposition of 1904, the Great Food Exposition is a buffet of Italian, American, Asian and seafood favorites, while Lewy Nine’s Café features a menu of diner classics sure to satisfy comfort-food cravings for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The 1904 Beerhouse serves more than 100 beers by the bottle and 32 on tap, and a food menu of contemporary bar treats and specialty food items designed to share and pair with beers.

The menu includes such hearty bar foods as sliders, deep-dish pizza, juicy hot dogs and bratwurst. Peet’s Coffee & Tea offers handcrafted beverages and the freshest, artisan-roasted whole-bean coffees, espresso drinks, teas, and an array of muffins, Danish, croissants and other baked goods.
