Built as the Fine Arts Palace of the 1904 Worlds Fair and one of the nation's leading comprehensive art museums. Collections include works of art from virtually every culture and time period. Areas of notable depth include Oceanic art, pre-Columbian art, ancient Chinese bronzes and European and American art of the late 19th century and 20th century, with particular strength in German painting. Free admission to exhibitions on Fridays and programs diesgned for all ages and interests. Tue. - Sun., 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Fri., 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.; FREE.

Wide selection of cultures and respective art. Across 3 levels and it is free. The best part is out front great view over the large man made pond and fountains

The finest collection of art this side of the Louvre in Paris. Beautiful art and historical artifacts. Don't miss this when visiting St. Louis. And the best thing...its Free !!!!
