5 Things to Do in St. Louis this Weekend 3/21 – 3/23

Happy Friday, everyone! The first weekend of Spring is here and there plenty of fun things to do in St. Louis this weekend to celebrate!

sea lion soundSea Lion Sound Spring Training – March 21 – 30
The St. Louis Cardinals aren’t the only ones in spring training in. The St. Louis Zoo’s Sea Lions are starting to work with their trainers high jumps, flipper walks, balancing acts, high dives, Frisbee tosses and more. The shows are at 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Tickets are $4 per person and free for kids younger than 2.

Night at the Museum at the Gateway Arch – March 22
Saddle up for a Western Adventure! This Saturday, enjoy an evening in the Old West with family friendly activities during “Night at the Museum” at the Gateway Arch Experience and visit the Museum of Westward Expansion once before it closes for renovations.

Hermann Wurstfest – March 22 – 23
This weekend would be a good time to take a day trip to Hermann, Missouri! The small German town is celebrating Wurstfest! You can soak in the German culture and music, but the real reason to go is to eat as much bratwurst, leberwurst and summer sausage as your stomach can take. Wurstfest runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Saturday, March 22, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Sunday, March 23. Admission is $8 at the Stone Hill Winery Pavilion and the Hermannhof Festhalle.

The hit musical We Will Rock You featuring the greatest hits of the legendary British rock group, Queen makes its way to the stage at the The Fabulous Fox Theatre – St. Louis through March 30th!

Dinosaurs in Motion – March 21 – September 1
This interactive dinosaur exhibition engages with art: sketch, drawn and sculpt to explore your inner creativity; science: learn kinetics, biomechanics and robotics while moving the dinosaurs with pulleys, levers and remote controls; and innovation: observe and experiment with your own prehistoric, recycled creations.  The exhibit runs now through September 1 at the Saint Louis Science Center!
