Grab a picnic and join Shakespeare Festival St. Louis for this year’s features of “Henry IV” and “Henry V.” As St. Louis’ only free outdoor professional theater, attendees can also experience exciting pre-show events, performers and much more.

Chinese Culture Days May 17-18
Experience a cultural weekend full of events from a grand parade including a 70-foot dragon to lion dancers and more. Guests can also enjoy authentic teas, regional cuisine, Chinese art, live music and more taking place center stage in the Chinese garden. A collaborative effort between the Missouri Botanical Garden and the Chinese Culture Education and Services Foundation, Chinese Culture Days has been a favorite annual event since 1996.

Taste of Maplewood – May 17
Join the City of Maplewood for its 6th Taste of Maplewood street festival. Spend Saturday browsing the numerous local food vendors on Sutton Blvd. battling for bragging rights while celebrity judges Catherine Taste of MaplewoodNeville, Nancy Stiles and Charlie Brennan make their choices for a winner. Categories to be judged will include Best Sweet Tooth, Best Unexpected Flavor, Best Cocktail and Best Overall Taste of Maplewood. In addition to delicious food and drinks, guests can also enjoy live entertainment

IndiHop 2014  – May 17
The Grove and Cherokee Street unite for an amazing event featuring more than 50 beers. Spend the day sampling varieties of beer and enjoying live entertainment. As you shuttle around from neighborhood to neighborhood, artists and street performers will welcome you as you sip your brews. Guests will receive a special event booklet, a tasting glass, complimentary shuttles and spend the day enjoying the beer culture of St. Louis.
