The free all-day festival will feature bacon-inspired dishes, bacon infused drinks, live music, bacon merchandise, and bacon art and bacon activities for the entire family.The centerpiece of Baconfest will be the World’s Largest Hog Log with a WORLD RECORD weight of 1,000 POUNDS cooked in a custom-built Holly, Dolly102 foot long Bar-B-Qu pit (built live downtown the day before the event)…the ultimate bacon glory! Hello, Dolly at The Muny – Friday, August 15 – Sunday, August 17
Watch Mrs. Dolly Levi make her dramatic Muny return in this award-winning musical celebrating its 50th Broadway opening anniversary. Enjoy familiar tunes and big dance numbers as you watch busybody Mrs. Levi meddle her way through New York.

Downtown St. Louis Restaurant Week – Friday, August 15 – Sunday, August 17
This year marks the 10th anniversary of Downtown Restaurant Week. Choose from 25 restaurants and enjoy a three-course meal for $25. The event draws 15,000 diners, so reservations are encouraged.

Join Third Degree Glass Factory and watch artists turn molten glass into beautiful pieces of art work. If you feel inspired to make your own creations, make your own glass pieces and work with an art instructor for $25-$35. As you play with fire, listen to some blues music. ALIVE’s 6th Annual Top Chef Presented by Shock Top – Sunday, August 17
The 6th annual Top Chef, presented by Shock Top will pit six competing chefs against each other in St. Louis’ biggest burger challenge for the title of Top Chef. Expect live music, cooking demos, cocktails and more!
