3rd Annual Schurcipefones Festival – August 3
Celebrate the culmination of St. Louis Craft Beer Week with closing ceremonies and beer tasting at Rooster South Grand. This annual festival and block party features unlimited tasting of over 40 beers from local breweries along with food, live music, a raffle and more!
St. Louis Cabaret Festival – August 1 – 2
Join The Cabaret Project of St. Louis for four nights of powerhouse performances. Don’t miss the St. Louis premier of Tony Award winner Faith Prince’s show, “Have a Little Faith.” Barbara Streisand fans will be blown away the following night by Ann Hampton Callaway, who will be returning to her cabaret roots with her show, “The Streisand Songbook.” On the third night, jazz vocalist and pianist Billy Stritch will bring his show “I’ve Got Your Number: The Jazz of Cy Coleman,” and then will join forces with the legendary Marilyn Maye for “An Evening with the Marvelous Marilyn Maye.” The Cabaret Festival will come to a vibrant close on the final evening at the Kranzberg Arts Center, where 30 singers from around the US will take to the stage in celebration of their craft.
Grease at The Muny – Friday, August 1 – August 8
Watch Danny and Sandy fall in love all over again in this season’s production of Grease at The Muny in Forest Park. This musical favorite returns to The Muny stage as one of the most popular shows in its history. Take a step back in time for this 1950s love story and sing along with crowd-pleasing hits like “”Grease Lightning,” “We Go Together” and more!
Keith Urban at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater – August 1
Country pop- rocker and American Idol judge, Keith Urban presents his nation-wide “Raise ‘Em Up” tour. Urban will be joined by special guests country singer-songwriters Jerod Niemann and Brett Eldredge. Showtime is 7pm; tickets can be purchased through Live Nation
Saint Louis Art Museum Outdoor Film Series – Meet Me in St. Louis – August 1
Come enjoy the outdoors, fantastic food, great live music, and some of your favorite movies at Saint Louis Art Museum’s Outdoor Film Series. Relax and picnic at the base of art hill and indulge in offerings by a variety of Food Trucks as the featured film of the night, Meet Me in St. Louis plays on an enormous screen for all to see
