Happy Friday! It’s time for a fun-filled weekend in St. Louis. If you are still pulling your plans together, here are a few suggestions to help make this a memorable weekend.

33rd Candlelight Christmas Walk: Friday, December 4
A corridor of over 1500 glowing luminaries welcomes you to the sights, sounds and smells of ‘Christmas yesteryear’ in charming Augusta, Missouri. Visit with Santa Claus in the Olde Wine Hall, enjoy a leisurely horse-drawn carriage ride, warm yourself ’round the bonfire at the old town square, and enjoy Christmas Caroling in the historic church. There will also be a town scavenger hunt with prizes, and artisans and crafters at the Visitor Center.

6th Annual Central West End: Window Walk: Saturday, December 5
Activities include elegantly decorated storefronts, street entertainment, special discounts, carriage rides and pictures with Santa. The event culminates with the traditional lighting of the Holiday Tree in Maryland Plaza.

UMSL’s Jazz for the Holidays: Sunday, December 6
This annual production showcases holiday classics with a jazzy flair. The evening features such classics as “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “The Christmas Song,” “Jingle Bells” and selections from A Charlie Brown Christmas.

Grinchmas on South Grand: The Grinch Spreads Holiday Cheer: Saturday, December 5
Not to let Santa have all the fun this Holiday Season the Grinch will be out spreading holiday cheer and joy and to help raise funds for Shriners Hospitals for Children on Saturday.  For a $7 donation, participants can get their photo taken with the Grinch. For a $7 donation to the hospital, participants can get their photo taken with the Grinch. Those who bring a toy donation can get a photo taken for only $5. Joining the Grinch will be the clowns from Moolah Shriners, who will offer free face-painting and balloon animals. And local photo booth Photomaton will be partnering with South Grand this year to make your experience with the Grinch even more memorable!

Cherokee Antique Row Cookie Spree: Saturday, December 5 – Sunday, December 6
Browse through antique and collectible stores on historic Cherokee Street as merchants serve Christmas cookies. Visitors will enjoy holiday entertainment and other festivities.
