5 Things to Do this Weekend in St. Louis 5/22 – 5/24
Happy Memorial Day weekend! It’s time for another fun-filled weekend in St. Louis. If you are still pulling your plans together, here are a few suggestions to help make this a memorable weekend.
Spring to Dance Festival: May 22 – 24
One of the region’s must-see festivals returns! 26 professional dance companies from across the country, and this year including Mexico, converge at the Touhill to perform for three consecutive nights. Contemporary, classical, modern, tap, tango, flamenco, ballet and more — the festival offers something for everyone with a different program each night.
Lantern Festival: Magic Reimagined: May 23 – August 23
Celebrating the Garden’s ongoing botanical research in China, nearly two dozen of all-new sets crafted from silk and steel will once again offer visitors from around the world the opportunity to experience an event rarely staged outside of Asia.
St. Louis County Greek Fest: May 22 – 25
The Greek Festival in the Town & Country neighborhood is a Memorial Day tradition for many area families. Thousands of visitors attend the four day festival which features Greek music, dancing, gifts and plenty of authentic Greek food.
Shakespeare Festival St. Louis’ Antony and Cleopatra: May 22 – June 14
Shakespeare Festival St. Louis continues its free performances in Forest Park on Memorial Day weekend. This year’s play is Antony and Cleopatra. The play begins at 8 p.m. with pre-show activities at 6:30 p.m.
African Arts Festival: May 23 – 25
Love arts and crafts? Then you won’t want to miss the African Arts Festival. Festival goers can immerse themselves in African-American artifacts, art tours, cultural demos at the Worlds Fair Pavilion in Forest Park.
