Lafayette Painted Ladies 3 - Jane Linders

Happy Friday! It’s time for a fun-filled weekend in St. Louis. If you are still pulling your plans together, here are a few suggestions to help make this a memorable weekend.

Art & Air: June 5-7
Juried art, live music, and kids’ drawings are the “art” half of Webster Groves’ Art & Air. The outdoorsy setting provides what’s on the other side of the ampersand.

Chris Botti: June 5
The Grammy® Award-winning trumpeter Chris Botti returns by popular demand to Powell Hall performing his famous smooth jazz stylings that will blend with the lush sounds of the STL Symphony.  Hear one of the world’s most beloved instrumentalists in this one night only, not-to-be missed performance.

Lafayette Square Spring House & Garden Tour: June 6-7
One of the largest collections of Victorian homes in the U.S. will once again be on display, as the 46th Annual Lafayette Square Spring House & Garden Tour sets off this weekend. Ten stunning homes and several gardens will be on tour, all within walking distance of each other. The tour also features antique vendors around Lafayette Park, food and beverage vendors, and a vintage baseball game Saturday afternoon.

Kimmswick Strawberry Festival: June 6-7
The Kimmswick Strawberry Festival just a short drive from Downtown St. Louis celebrates everyone’s favorite berry with everything from fresh strawberries, strawberry shortcake, chocolate covered strawberries, strawberry cheesecake, strawberry iced tea and of course strawberry wine.

University City Jazz Festival: June 6
Jazz is the heart of St. Louis’ heritage, and what better way to celebrate than with a free festival? Acts include the Phil Gomez Trio, Bach to the Future, and more.
