Happy Friday! It’s time for a fun-filled weekend in St. Louis. If you are still pulling your plans together, here are a few suggestions to help make this a memorable weekend.

Let Them Eat Art:  July 10
From 6-11pm, take to the streets of downtown Maplewood to celebrate this whimsical tribute to Bastille Day. Live art demonstrations, a cakewalk parade, face painting, belly dancing, food and drink—including wine and chocolate tastings—and more will entertain the whole family.

St. Louis Art Museum Outdoor Film Series – Back to the Future: July 10
Come enjoy the outdoors, fantastic food, great live music, and some of your favorite movies at Saint Louis Art Museum’s third annual Outdoor Film Series showing the film, “Back to the Future.” The food trucks and music start at 6:00 pm. Films begin promptly at 9:00 pm. You are welcome to arrive any time to claim your spot on Art Hill.

Slide the City – St. Louis: July 11 – 12
Help out local charities and enjoy one of the longest slip and slides around, straight through the heart of Downtown St. Louis. Plan for live music, food, water games and much more.

Holiday Inn: through July 12
The story of a Connecticut farmhouse transformed into a jubilant nightspot and hotel that is only open on holidays! “Easter Parade,” “Steppin’ Out With My Baby,” “Shakin’ The Blues Away,” and “Be Careful, It’s My Heart” will be featured. Performances begin at 8:15

Bud & Burgers Championship Festival: July 11
This Saturday, the competition to find America’s best amateur burger chef comes to St. Louis at the Anheuser-Busch St. Louis Brewery. Semi-finalists compete head-to-head at ten nationwide Bud & Burgers Championships events hosted at some of the biggest festivals throughout the summer, including Stagecoach Music Festival, Free Press Summer Fest, Chicago Blues Festival and more. Festival attendees will have the chance to sample the burgers with Budweiser Signature Draught and then cast their vote to narrow down the group of ten to three finalists. Budweiser Brewmasters, along with award-winning chef David Chang, will determine who should be crowned as the best amateur burger chef. Tickets includes burger and Budweiser Signature Draught sampling as well as the 4D concert and other festival activities. Tickets: $20 each; $25 on event day
