Happy Friday! It’s time for a fun-filled weekend in St. Louis. If you are still pulling your plans together, here are a few suggestions to help make this a memorable weekend.

Henry Shaw’s 215th Birthday Celebration: July 24
This Friday marks Henry Shaw’s 215th birthday of the founder of the Missouri Botanical Garden’s.  Enjoy free admission all day, and special activities, including a stilt walker, balloon artist, and marionette shows.

2nd Annual Grillin’ at Gateway Festival: July 25
Watch the top BBQ teams in the Midwest compete for a championship while also enjoying great food, live music, an all-Ford car show, autocross and drag racing. The event is held in conjunction with the Fun Ford and Gateway E.T. Championship Series.

Saint Louis Art Museum Outdoor Film Series – Clueless: July 24
This Friday at the Saint Louis Art Museum’s free Art Hill Film Series, come enjoy the outdoors, fantastic food, great live music, and the movie Clueless.  The food trucks and music start at 6:00 pm. Films begin promptly at 9:00 pm. You are welcome to arrive any time to claim your spot on Art Hill.

St. Louis Craft Beer Week: July 25 – August 2
St. Louis Craft Beer Week celebrates the history of local brews. Enjoy specials from breweries, distributers, bars, and restaurants throughout the region. Hoppiness is just around the corner.

The Muny Into The Woods: Through July 27
This musical intertwines the plots of several Brothers Grimm fairy tales and follows them to explore the consequences of the characters’ wishes and guests. Journey with the Baker and his wife, as they work to lift the Witch’s spell with the help of Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (and the bean stalk), Rapunzel, Cinderella and others. The Muny is America’s oldest and largest outdoor musical theatre. All performances begin promptly at 8:15
