It’s Friday night, there’s music in the air and the weekend is on its way. “Music @ The Intersection” is a innovative music festival that showcases the best of Missouri talent across genres. Featuring local beer tents, street art, food and drink specials, and so much more, this unique festival is just one of the “66 Reasons to Love St. Louis.” This Friday, August 14 – groove to soul, R&B and hip-hop. Performances will be staggered so that you can crawl through the area and see a variety of shows.
Oklahoma!: Thru August 16
Rodgers and Hammerstein’s masterpiece Oklahoma!, the musical that changed Broadway and America, returns to The Muny stage in a grand and glorious production. In its first Muny production since 2007, this beautiful and dramatic show features an unforgettable story.
SLIPKNOT: Summer’s Last Stand Tour: August 16
On their “Summer’s Last Stand” tour, Slipknot makes an appearance at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre with special guests Lamb of God, Bullet for My Valentine and Motionless in White. Tickets go on sale Jan. 31.
Sammy Hager and The Circle: August 15
Sammy Hagar’s supergroup The Circle visits St. Louis for a once-in- a-lifetime show. Georgia rock band Collective Soul opens a night filled with heavy riffs and classic hits. Tickets at livenation.com
