Family Friendly

First Night Grand Center
One of the biggest New Year’s Eve celebrations in St. Louis is First Night in Grand Center. This family-friendly, alcohol free event draws nearly 25,000 people who enjoy an evening of singing, dancing and art. The evening starts at 6 p.m., and ends with fireworks at midnight. Admission buttons can be purchased in advance at Dierbergs and some Schnucks stores. Admission is $12 for adults and $6 for children. Kids five and younger get in free.

Noontime New Year’s Eve
Ring in the New Year’s Eve a little bit early with a Noontime New Year celebration at the Magic House. On December 31 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, New Year’s revelers of all ages are invited to join the festivities. Dance to music, make wish wands and noise makers, march in a noisy parade through the museum and participate in a special countdown to noon!

Hidden Valley Midnight Ski

Skating Party at Steinberg Rink
Steinberg Skating Rink in Forest Park is hosting a New Year’s Eve party for kids and adults. It runs until 12:30 a.m., and includes skating and skate rental, an appetizer buffet, hot chocolate and soda for the kids, and beer and wine for the adults. Skate admission is $7 and skate rental is $5 for everyone. Buffet tickets are $25 for 21 and older, and $15 for those younger than 21. The buffet will be served from 7 p.m to 11 p.m. No reservations are required.


Hyatt Ultimate NYE Party
The Hyatt Regency at the Arch invites you to their Ultimate New Year’s Eve Party. The celebration includes music from Dr. Zhivegas, Smash Band and Tess Boyer. There’s also an open bar, food buffet, balloon drop and champagne toast at midnight. Prices are $119 for the party only or $349 per couple including a one-night stay at the hotel.

New Year’s Eve at Three Sixty
Ring in 2014 at Three Sixty with an over the top New Year’s Eve celebration complete with a DJ and an extravagant laser show. With sweeping views of the city and a bevy of exciting cocktails Three Sixty is the ultimate destination for the biggest party of the year.

Celebration at the Ritz
Enjoy an elegant New Year’s Eve at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Clayton. The party in the Lobby Lounge goes from 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. There will be gourmet food, martinis and music. There is no cover charge, but limited seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Cheshire’s Ultimate NYE Bash
This New Year’s Eve the Cheshire will host a complex-wide party, including live entertainment by local band Whiskey Morning and a champagne toast at midnight. Tickets serve as an all access pass to Italian favorites from Basso, American fare from The Restaurant with seafood and carving stations, and an open bar available in every space. Four Seasons St. Louis – Cielo
Join the Four Seasons St. Louis this New Year’s Eve to ring in the new New Year with a modern Italian four course menu devised by Chef Colucci. For the early birds, dinner starts at 6:00 PM at $90 per person. For those who would like to hit the dance floor & celebrate late into the night, dinner starts at 8:30 PM at $110 per person.  Guests can expect cured amberjack and salmon or golden beet and cabbage soup as a first course, pumpkin tortellini or pappardelle pasta as a second course and Alaskan halibut or filet for a third course. Guests can choose between housemade panettone or a chocolate caramel candy bar for the final course.  There is also a Countdown Party in the lobby with DJ Nune from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Tickets are $40 per person & includes two drinks.

Big Daddy’s New Year’s Eve Bash
Celebrate New Year’s Eve on the Laclede’s Landing at Big Daddy’s! Their annual bash includes beer, 5-course food buffet (7-10 p.m.), and shuttle service.

Irish NYE at McGurk’s
Celebrate New Year’s Eve at one of the top Irish pubs in the country. McGurk’s in Soulard is hosting a party with a full dinner buffet, premium open bar and champagne toast at midnight. The Darrells will be performing in the Front Room. The enclosed outdoor pavilion will also be open. Tickets are $150 a person.

Bissell Mansion Murder on 34th Street
I do declare, I do declare, there has been a murder, and you, sir or madam, can be a part of the action as it all unfurls, or just sit back and watch how the pieces all come together. On this New Year’s Eve be a part of the interactive comedy mystery dinner theater featuring Kris Kringle on trial for murder and a delicious four-course meal.

Bring out the Bubbles…Make it a Robust New Year! Enjoy Four Tasting Plates paired with four wines (regular menu also available) 6-8:30 pm seating dinner only for $50 per person; 9pm-Close; $70 per person includes live music and champagne toast at midnight.  After 9pm listen and dance to live DJ Kno Reuest ‘80s at The MX.


Party at the Pageant
The party at the Pageant is always fun with plenty of music, drinks and dancing. This year, The Schwag will take the stage to help ring in the New Year. Doors open at 7 p.m. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 a person.

NYE Live! at Ballpark Village St. Louis
St. Louis’ newest celebration is NYE Live! at Ballpark Village. Visitors can mingle among the many bars and restaurants in the Village. There will be live music, inclusive drink packages and party favors. The theme for the celebration is Glitter & Glow, a Night in Hollywood. General admission tickets are $85-$95. Diamond access tickets (which include appetizers) are $110-$120.

STL Symphony Holiday Concert: New Year’s Eve Celebration
What will the St. Louis Symphony be playing at its annual New Year’s Eve concert? You’ll have to go to find out. The program for the evening is always a secret, but conductor David Robertson promises a memorable evening at Powell Hall. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 to $125.

Off Broadway New Year’s Eve
There will be plenty of great music on New Year’s Eve at Off Broadway in downtown St. Louis. Jon Hardy and the Public are scheduled to perform. The doors open at 7 p.m. The music starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 a person and include three free drink tickets.

Rock-n-Roll New Year’s Eve at Lemp Mansion
New Year’s Eve at the Lemp Mansion’s Grand Hall is an evening of food, drinks and entertainment. The celebration begins at 7 p.m. It includes dinner, open bar, live music and midnight toast. The cost is $75 a person.

Dancing at Casa Loma
The owners of Casa Loma Ballroom sure know how to throw a party. This year’s NYE celebration features a Beggar’s Carnivale show complete with gypsies, a one-ring circus, vaudeville acts and more. There’s also dancing to the music of The Three Penny Orchestra. Doors open at 9 p.m. There’s a breakfast buffet after midnight and the entertainment continues until 3 a.m. Tickets are $69 a person.

Dinner Cruise

New Year’s Eve Cruise
Spend New Year’s Eve on a steamboat cruising the Mississippi River. The 3 1/2 hour cruise leaves from the south leg of the Gateway Arch. The cruise includes a dinner, an open bar, music, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight. The cost is $85 a person.
