Soulard Mardi Gras | All Month Long
February is Mardi Gras time and the Soulard neighborhood hosts the biggest party in town. The events happening this month include the Cajun Cook Off (Feb. 16), Taste of Soulard (Feb 23-24), and Pet Parade (Feb. 24)
GUITAR: The Instrument that Rocked the World | Through April 14
Experience the science of sound and the cultural impact of the guitar by exploring more than 70 instruments and 100 historical artifacts-ranging from the rare and antique to the wildly popular and innovative. This special exhibition from The National GUITAR Museum at the Saint Louis Science Center features hands-on activities, video performances, x-ray images of guitars’ inner workings and plenty of opportunities to strum and jam.
Disney on Ice Presents 100 Years of Magic | February 1 – 3
Grab your Mickey ears and get ready for the ultimate Disney experience at Disney On Ice celebrates 100 Years of Magic and skates into Enterprise Center. Be charmed by a cast of over 50 unforgettable Disney characters. Orchid Show | February 2 – March 24
The annual Orchid Show offers visitors a once-a-year opportunity to see a rotating display of hundreds of orchids from the Missouri Botanical Garden’s expansive permanent living collection amid a tropical oasis inside the Orthwein Floral Display Hall.
Legally Blonde – The Musical | February 4
The fun award-winning Legally Blonde – The Musical is the ultimate Broadway tribute to Girl Power! Oslo | February 6 – March 3
Winner of the 2017 Tony Award for Best Play. In 1993, two bitter enemies shocked the world by shaking hands and agreeing to work toward peace. This breathtaking drama at The Repertory Theater tells the story of the secretive and precarious negotiations that made that moment possible. By focusing on the Norwegian couple who brokered talks between the Israelis and Palestinians, Oslo finds the unlikely story behind this historic event.

Balanchine’s Rubies and other Love Stories | February 15 – 16
For first time, Saint Louis presents one of George Balanchine’s iconic ballets – Rubies. The ruby red costumes and romantic nature of the ballet are well suited to Valentine’s weekend. Performed by major companies throughout the world, Rubies is set to music by Igor Stravinsky and is the “jazziest”, most accessible, and most often performed of Balanchine’s “jewel” ballets. See it at the Touhill Performing Arts Center.
