The Bodyguard | October 3 – 15

Best of Missouri Market | October 6 – 8
Shop from over 120 regional food producers and crafters offering fresh produce, baked goods, fresh and dried flowers, herbs, handcrafted items, baskets, wooden toys, custom jewelry and more. Live music and a Kids Corner with cow milking, pumpkin decorating and barnyard animals.
Historic Shaw Art Fair | October 7 – 8
Check out art from 135 exhibitors as you stroll along the Historic Shaw district at the Shaw Art Fair Oct. 4 and 5. Admire the surrounding architecture, walk your dog, enjoy fare from food vendors and bring the kids for fun in the activity tent. Proceeds benefit the Shaw Neighborhood Improvement Association.
Grove Fest | October 7
Grove Fest is celebrating its 12th anniversary this year! The annual street festival is a favorite fall event for many in the Grove neighborhood in St. Louis. The celebration runs from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. It features an eclectic mix of music, art, food and street performers. The festival is held along Manchester Avenue between Kingshighway and Vandeventer Avenue.
Haunted Houses | Throughout October
There are several places to go when you want a real Halloween fright in St. Louis. The Darkness Haunted House in Soulard is ranked as one of the best in the country and draws big crowds every year. There’s also Creepyworld in Fenton and Haunted Paintball Park in Millstadt.
Kimmswick Apple Butter Festival | October 7
The Apple Butter Festival is Kimmswick, Missouri’s largest celebration of the year. More than 100,000 visitors fill Market Street and the city park to sample apple butter and dozens of other foods. Hundreds of craft vendors sell their goods at booths around town.
Fright Fest at Six Flags St. Louis | October 1 – 29
Fright Fest, presented by SNICKERS®, is back for select days at Six Flags St. Louis! It’s a spooky time of year as zombies and ghouls take over the park. Enjoy thrills and activities for the whole family throughout the day and come back for a truly frightening evening of fun after the sun goes down. Fright Fest offers a wide variety of places to get your scare on including several haunted houses and scare zones located throughout the park.
St. Louis Renaissance Festival | September 30 – October 15
Step into a 16th century French village, complete with period costumes, jousting demonstrations, crafts, food, music and more.
Harvest Festival | October 15
The Harvest Festival is a celebration of the changing seasons at Laumeier Sculpture Park. More than 3,500 patrons attend Sauce Magazine‘s annual event featuring fall foods and beverages from St. Louis’ top restaurants, a farmers market, locally made arts and crafts, live music and more on the Park grounds.
Flavored Nation: A Taste of Every State | October 28 – 29
For the very first time, iconic dishes from all 50 states will be showcased at Flavored Nation (Oct. 27-29) in The Dome at America’s Center. Two stages of entertainment include celebrities, chefs, cooking competitions, mixologists, beer masters, sommeliers and much more. Be among the first to experience this exciting new food festival.
