The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis Presents Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley | November 24 – December 24
In this winning and witty sequel to Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, the bookish middle child of the Bennet family finally has her day. Constantly overshadowed by her four sisters, Mary Bennet finds hope for a new life beyond her family from an unexpected holiday romance. Austen fans and first-timers alike will find much to love in this alluring comedic tale.
Sounds of the Season | December 8 – 10
Ambassadors of Harmony will rekindle the joy of the holidays with Sounds of the Season at the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center on the campus of the University of Missouri.
13th Annual Christmas at the Cathedral | December 9 – 10
The Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis will host the Tenth Annual Christmas at the Cathedral concert, featuring the Archdiocesan Adult Choir, Children’s Choir, Handbell Choir and Orchestra, featuring Christmas classics both old and new.
A Christmas Carol | December 14 – 17
This fully-staged musical version of Charles Dickens’ classic tale, A CHRISTMAS CAROL, has become a Yuletide tradition. The show features a spirited ensemble of 23 performers who bring Dickens’ fable of redemption to life on a magical set created by noted designer James Othuse. A full array of timeless carols such as “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” “Away In a Manger,” and “Here We Come A-Wassailing” are interwoven within the classic story of a tight-fisted, middle-class merchant Ebenezer Scrooge and all the beloved characters from Dickens’ 1843 novel.
A Charlie Brown Christmas Live on Stage | December 15
Join Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus and the rest of the Peanuts gang in their journey to uncover the true meaning of Christmas at the Peabody Opera House. The Charlie Brown Christmas Live On Stage has a fresh take on this timeless classic that gives the audience a completely new way of experience the storyline as portrayed by real actors who maintain the integrity and spirit of each peanuts character.
Saint Louis Symphony’s Mercy Holiday Celebration | December 15 – 17

Saint Louis Ballet Presents The Nutcracker | December 18 – 23
Gen Horiuchi’s version of The Nutcracker, on the vast Touhill stage, incorporates spectacular effects such as glitter, smoke and pyrotechnics plus new choreography each year to keep this holiday classic fresh. A magical adventure that’s appropriate for all ages, The Nutcracker features the talents of Saint Louis Ballet’s professional company along with students from the Saint Louis Ballet School – and special surprise guests in the comic role of Mother Ginger. Glorious dancing, Tchaikovsky’s classic score — a holiday tradition in Saint Louis since 2000!
The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis Presents The Nutcracker | December 16 – 23
Marie is a little lonely after her family moves to a new town, but when her Godfather arrives with some mysterious Christmas Eve packages, she finds magic in very unlikely places. One of Godfather’s gifts is a wooden nutcracker who appears to be nothing more than an ugly toy, but Marie soon discovers that this is no ordinary doll. The Nutcracker leads Marie on a magical adventure full of evil mice, dancing fairies and distant lands, showing her along the way that friends may not be so hard to find and that the magic of Christmas can last the whole year through.
Duke Ellington’s Nutcracker Suite | December 19 – 21
Celebrate the Holidays with a special showcase of Duke Ellington’s Nutcracker Suite performed by the Jazz St. Louis Big Band! These jazz interpretations of Tchaikovsky’s ballet, arranged by Ellington and Billy Strayhorn, feature tunes like “Sugar Rum Cherry” and “Peanut Brittle Brigade.”
Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker | December. 23
