The summer fun continues this August in St. Louis with can’t-miss events and activities, including free outdoor concerts, Labor Day weekend celebrations and so much more.

City Nights at City Museum | August 1, 8 and 15

This 21 or older event gives guests a new type of rooftop bar—with the museum’s gigantic Ferris wheel and ample slides as entertainment. In addition, attendees will listen to live music as they snack on food and sip cocktails. Can’t make it this time? Tickets are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Art Hill Film Series: The Goonies | August 3

Embark on an incredible journey with the St. Louis Art Museum at the Art Hill Film Series! Located in Forest Park, the historical Art Hill will have you mesmerized by the amazing films being projected. The party begins at 6 p.m. film starts at 9 p.m. Come out and join the fun!

Grease – Stages St. Louis | Through August 18

Travel back to the year 1959 with the Pink Ladies and the Greasers through this timeless musical about discovering love and celebrating friendships. Grease is a high octane rock n roll party that you will have you wanting to jump and join in.  See it at Stages St. louis through August 18.

Blues at the Arch | August 9, 16, 23, and 30

Named the “Best Way to Celebrate St. Louis”, by the Riverfront Times, this partnership between the The National Blues Museum and Gateway Arch Park Foundation brings renowned blues arts to the Gateway Arch grounds for free concerts.  This year’s line up includes Kim Massie and Kennedy Holmes, Johnny Rawls, Brandon “Taz” Niederauer and more. You don’t want to miss this night of chill vibes at the historical Arch starting at 6 pm!

Grub and Groove | August 10

Visit Francis Park for the 8th Annual Grub & Groove, a free event presented by Alliance Credit Union full of fun for the entire family. Eat food from 13 local restaurant vendors, visit the 4 Hands Brewing Company Draft Experience, play in the Spectrum Brands Kids Zone, or just enjoy the afternoon listening to local musicians.

2019 Moonlight Ramble | August 16

Grab your bicycle and join Trailnet under the light of the moon for a bike ride adventure! Attracting thousands of riders each year, the event includes a leisurely bike ride through the streets of St. Louis, a Festival area, live entertainment, a commemorative event shirt along with with a post-ride party including snacks and drinks.

St. Louis World’s Fare Heritage Festival | August 16 – 18

In celebration of St. Louis’ 1904 World’s Fair, head to its namesake pavilion in Forest Park for local eats, mixology demonstrations, live music, and a Ferris wheel.

2019 Sinquefield Cup | August 17 – 29

Bommarito Automotive 500 IndyCar Series | August 23 – 24

The Bommarito Automotive Group 500 IndyCar Race is coming to the World Wide Technology Raceway . You won’t want to miss the best drivers from around the world competing against one another. The race is the 15th of a 17-race schedule and will be the final oval track race of the season.

Festival of Nations | August 24-25

Big Muddy Blues Festival | August 31

The Big Muddy Blue Festival provides a platform for a wide range of artists who represent extensions of the Blues genre, such as, soul, R&B, rockabilly, gospel and jazz. Big Muddy is the region’s largest Blues music event features over 18 hours of music and scores of bands on multiple stages throughout the cobblestone streets of Laclede’s Landing.
