Opera Theatre of Saint Louis | May 25 – June 30
You won’t want to miss the 2019 Opera Theatre of Saint Louis season at the Loretto-Hilton Center for the performing arts. With the romantic tale of the Marriage of Figaro, a father’s love for his daughter in Rigoletto, a thrilling fight for the throne in The Coronation of Poppea and the powerful coming-of age story in Fire Shut Up in My Bones there is something for everyone.
Whitaker Music Festival | Wednesdays, May 29 – July 31st
Grab your lawn chairs, blankets, and a picnic dinner and gather at the Missouri Botanical Garden for a night of free music under the stars. This season, enjoy the sounds Terence Blanchard and other great musical acts.
Love’s Labors Lost | May 31 – June 23
Free outdoor theatre in the Park returns to Forest Park Shakespeare Glen with Love’s Labors Lost at Shakespeare Festival St. Louis. In this play, affairs of state yield to affairs of the heart as history’s most-celebrated bard reveals the way our culture doesn’t always prepare us for the realities of romance.
Golf the Galleries: Artist-Designed Mini Golf | June 1 – August 11
Tee off at the Sheldon Art Galleries this summer at “Golf the Galleries,” This playable, artist-designed, nine-hole mini golf installation will be situated in the beautiful Sheldon Art Galleries space, and is designed to be inclusive, family-friendly and accessible. The nine unique mini golf holes are designed by St. Louis area artists, architects and other creatives.
IndiHop 2019 | June 1
Hop in, hop out . . .Hop on, hop off . . . IndiHop combines two iconic streets in St. Louis, The Grove and Cherokee St, for one major event celebrating beer. Hop into local businesses as they host ticketed guests to sample independent breweries between the two districts. After making your way down one street, hop onto a convenient shuttle and head to the next street and repeat all over again!
Circus Flora: The Caper in Aisle 6 | June 6 – 30
Circus Flora brings the The Caper in Aisle 6 to the Big Top in Grand Center. Don’t miss this performance of an unbelievable mix of excitement, charm and comedy as they assemble a troupe of the best circus acts and storytellers.
Webster Arts Fair | June 7 – 9
Ranked 77th in fine arts and fine crafts fairs in the nation, this prestigious fair features 105 artists from all over the country. The Webster Arts Fair also features entertainment, food, and hands-on art activities for all ages. This prestigious fair attracts 20,000 art, food, and entertainment lovers for the 3-day event!
Life Outside Festival | June 8
This festival ams to get everyone outside to walk, run, pedal, paddle, climb and hike. At this daylong event, try out different activities and connect with experts who can help you with equipment, advice, and tips.
Central West End Cocktail Party | June 8
Join festival goers on the streets of the Central West End for the 4th Annual CWE Cocktail Party! The CWE is home to the first cocktail party on record — held in 1917 by Mrs. Julius S. Walsh Jr. in her home at 4510 Lindell Boulevard. Each year, the CWE pays tribute to this very important anniversary and celebrates the neighborhood history in style!
Twangfest | June 6 – 9
Fans of twang, rock, pop and soul music won’t want to miss the annual Twangfest festivities at Off Broadway. Twangfest is a place where incredible musical performers from all over the country play before the most fervent bunch of music lovers that they or you will ever meet.
The Muny 101st | June 10 – August 11
Summer’s here and the lights go on at the Muny in Forest Park for their 101st season. This season during the month of June, see Guys and Dolls (June 10 – 16), Kinky Boots (June 19 – 25), and 1776 (June 27 – July 3).
Hollywood Casino Amphitheater | June – September
Rock out to the hottest, national concert acts at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater an indoor/outdoor music venue just a short drive from Downtown St. Louis all summer long. The entertainment venus is heating up with shows from Brad Paisley to Wiz Khalifa.
Showcase STL | June 21 – 22
The Riverfront time’s annual Showcase STL is in it’s 18th year. On June 21 and 22, head to The Grove neighborhood where it will be transformed into an-inclusive music crawl featuring more than 100 acts.
STL PrideFest 2019 | June 29 – 30
With estimated an attendance of 300,000 attendees over PrideFest weekend last year, Pridefest STL is one of the most-attended Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) events in the Midwest region.
