Soulard Mardi Gras | All Month Long

February is Mardi Gras time and the Soulard neighborhood hosts the biggest party in town.  The events happening this month include the Cajun Cook Off (Feb. 8), Taste of Soulard (Feb 15-16), and Pet Parade (Feb. 16) and the Bud Light Grand Parade (Feb. 22)

Gateway Arch

From the thrilling views to the amazing stories, a visit to the Gateway Arch is an experience that never fails to inspire. Attractions include the Tram Ride to the Top of the Gateway Arch, the all new Museum at the Gateway Arch, and cruises aboard the Riverboats at the Gateway Arch.

Orchid Show | Through March 22

The annual Orchid Show offers visitors a once-a-year opportunity to see a rotating display of hundreds of orchids from the Missouri Botanical Garden’s expansive permanent living collection amid a tropical oasis inside the Orthwein Floral Display Hall.

Da Vinci The Exhibition | Through April 19

Discover the world of Renaissance Master Leonardo da Vinci and his passion for science and nature. Featuring more than 60 life-size recreations of da Vinci’s inventions and interactive machines, as well as 20 replicas of his art, explore da Vinci’s discoveries in engineering, flight, hydraulics, light, music and more.

Jersey Boys | January 30 – February 2

They were just four guys from Jersey, until they sang their very first note. Go behind the music and inside the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons in the Tony® and Grammy Award®-winning true-life musical phenomenon, JERSEY BOYS.

Sleeping Beauty | January 31 – February 1

Great music bypasses the mind and grabs the emotions. Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty takes the whole family on a roller coaster of love, bravery and triumph. Two artists make their debut: Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider, whose conducting has been called “spine-shudderingly good,” (The Times) and Saleem Ashkar, whose interpretation of Mendelssohn’s concerto has made waves across the world.

TapeScape @ St. Louis Public Library | February 3 – May 31

Explore and crawl through the twisting tunnels and curving walls of this art installation and play area that offers such an unexpected and delightful use of a common material. TapeScape is an indoor climbing, sliding, rolling landscape made of miles of packing tape stretched over a two-story steel frame, designed by artist and architect Eric Lennartson.

Curious George, Let’s Get Curious | Through April 19

Let your curiosity run wild at the Curious George™: Let’s Get Curious! exhibit at the Magic House St. Louis Children’s Museum! Launch yourself in the rocket George took to outer space, climb the fire escape outside his apartment, play mini golf on George’s special course and more.

Ben Folds | February 13 – 14

Top indie rock sensation Ben Folds is back by popular demand for an engaging concert experience, blending pop and orchestral music. Treat your special someone this Valentine’s Day weekend while Ben Folds serenades for this one-of-a-kind performance, featuring fan-favorites and orchestral arrangements with the SLSO.

Cairns Cup | February 6 – 17

The Saint Louis Chess Club will host the second annual Cairns Cup, an elite-level tournament featuring the top female players from around the world competing for a $180,000 prize fund. The field will include the 2019 Cairns Cup winner Grandmaster Valentina Guinina, Women’s World Chess Champion GM Wenjun Ju, Women’s World Rapid Champion GM Humpy Koneru, Women’s World Blitz Champion GM Kateryna Lagno and 7-time U.S. Women’s Champion GM Irina Krush.

Dennis Lafata Gateway Bid Classic | February 8 – 10

Set … Spike! The America’s Center convention complex will be filled with volleyballs and athletes for the Dennis Lafata Gateway Bid Classic, a spike-tacular tournament that serves up some of the best youth competition in the Midwest. Open to the public.

St. Louis RV Vacation & Travel Show | February 21 – 23

The St. Louis RV Vacation & Travel Show is one of the largest, public, recreational vehicle consumer shows in the country, consuming over 260,000 square feet of the America’s Center in downtown St. Louis. Attendees will see 300 RV’s highlighting the latest in state-of-the-art RV technology, streamline designs, parts and accessories as well as travel destination including campgrounds and resorts.

Rent | February 21 – 23
