This annual festival in the heart of Cherokee Street now draws more than 50,000 attendees. Vendors will line the street to serve authentic food and drink. Kiddos can hang out in the designated kid zone for family friendly activities throughout the day—think face-painting, bounce houses, crafts, and fortune telling. Lucha Libre Wrestling will take the stage on the corner of Cherokee and Iowa at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
Rosalita’s Cantina will be closing down Washington Avenue between Tucker and 13th St on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.! There will be a large party with tables and an outdoor bar, and a great line up of live music! Hacienda Mexican Resturant on Manchester Road has big plans for Cinco de Mayo this year! The restaurant opening early at 10 a.m., with live music beginning at 1 p.m.. There are also food and drink specials , price giveaways and a photo booth.
