Happy Easter weekend, everyone! Here are five St. Louis events you won’t want to miss:
Easter Concours d’Elegance Car Show, March 31, FREE
An Easter Parade of Corvettes, Mustangs and Packards, the 52nd annual Easter Concours d’Elegance is a festive celebration of a large variety of street rods, classica cars, street machines, mini trucks and other autos on display. You can catch this annual car show in Forest Park at The Muny upper parking lot.
Six Flags St. Louis Opening Weekend, March 29 & 30, Addmisison: $20.13
Six Flags St. Louis is kicking off another big year with the help of Lowe’s, for the Lowe’s Opening Weekend at Six Flags. Three seekers will enjoy rides, the opportunity to try the new paintball attraction lined up with four fields, compete to be the first to ride their ninth and newest roller coaster Boomerang during the Coaster Capital Challenge, shows and special events. Tickets for opening weekend are $20.13 when purchased online or in person with a donation of two nonperishable canned food items
Morpho Mania Butterfly House, March 29-31 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Admission Free for Members and $6 for Non Members
If you haven’t already make your way over to the Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House for the last weekend to enjoy the beauty of a rainforest and see the largest collection of Blue Morpho butterflies in the United States all in one place.
Get ready for the summer season by attending the Sea Lion Spring Training Show at the Saint Louis Zoo this weekend. The Zoo’s five Califorina sea lions-Roby, Rosie, Bennie, Dizi, and Nikki will show of their skills. Their acrobatic and athletic skills include Olympic-style dives, hurdle and high jumps, flipper walks, Frisbee tosses and balancing arts. Plus, trainers will be introducing the newcomer to the show, 2 year-old Mandy.
