The Loop Ice Carnival | January 19
The forecast for this weekend will be chilly, especially in The Delmar Loop as the annual Loop Ice Carnival offers up fun for everyone with ice carving sculptures, ice carving demonstrations, ice slides, carnival rides, wacky trike races, roof top skate park at the Moonrise Hotel and so much more!
PAW Patrol Live! “Race to the Rescue!” | January 18 – 20
Come roll with the PAW Patrol as everybody’s favorite heroic pups race to the rescue on the day of the Great Adventure Bay Race. When Mayor Goodway goes missing, Chase, Marshall, Skye and the rest of the PAW Patrol will need to team up with Ryder to save Adventure Bay’s mayor and stop Foggy Bottom’s Mayor Humdinger from winning the race.
Eagle Days | January 19 – 20
Eagle lovers of all ages are invited to the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge on January 19 and 20to watch eagles fishing, riding the ice floes, soaring overhead or roosting in nearby trees. Visitors are welcome to view eagles through spotting scopes staffed by trained volunteers.
GUITAR: The Instrument that Rocked the World | January 19 – April 20
Experience the science of sound and the cultural impact of the guitar at the Saint Louis Science Center by exploring more than 70 instruments and 100 historical artifacts-ranging from the rare and antique to the wildly popular and innovative. This special exhibition from The National GUITAR Museum features hands-on interactives for all ages, video performances, x-ray images of guitars’ inner workings and plenty of opportunities to strum and jam.
Winter Jazz Fest 2019 | January 19
The Second Annual St. Louis Winter Jazz Fest will feature internationally renowned artists including Grammy winner John Patitucci, Brian Blade, Tracy Silverman, Dave Black, Ptah Williams and Bach to the Future, and Mo Egeston and friends.
