First Fridays in Grand Center | January 3

Start the year off by immersing yourself in the arts. Museums and galleries throughout Grand Center are open late, from 5–9 p.m., during the first Friday of each month. Enjoy drinks and entertainment while visiting such venues as the Pulitzer Arts Foundation, The High Low, and more. Free. 5–9 p.m. 

Build-A-Bear Workshop Grand Opening | January 4

Build-A-Bear’s new World Bearquarters store is having its grand opening celebration this Saturday across from the St. Louis Aquarium, The St. Louis Wheel, and all of the fun attractions at Union Station! Visit us at 415 S 18th St.starting at 10 a.m. for free activities, photo ops, mascot appearances and prize drawings. The first 50 Guests get a FREE Lil’ Cub teddy bear!

Garden Glow | Through January 4

It’s the final weekend for Garden Glow at the Missouri Botanical Garden! Featuring a million lights surrounding visitors with a spectacle of unique installations amid some of the Garden’s most iconic locations. Enjoy interactive photo opportunities, traditional holiday music and festivities, delicious food and drinks and more as the Garden is transformed around you into a winter wonderland.

Disney on Ice | January 2 – 5

Your favorite Disney stories come to life at Disney On Ice presents Celebrate Memories! Sail along with Moana on her high-seas adventure and dance with Woody, Buzz and all the Toy Story friends. Feel inspired when love wins in Frozen and dreams come true for the Disney Princesses.

12th Night | January 6

The outcome’s a bit anti-climactic (yes, we’ll likely have another Mardi Gras celebration), but the raucous debate and lively entertainment make 12th Night—the official kickoff to Soulard Mardi Gras—a memorable occasion.
