Grooving in the Garden @ Magic House – July 12

Join the Magic House this Friday as they host critically-acclaimed Voice contestants, Brothers Walker! This sibling-duo is headlining this month’s installment of Grooving in the Garden, and they’ve got some tunes up their sleeves that are sure to get the whole family up on their feet and dancing. Better yet, Andy’s Frozen Custard will be in attendance, along with samples of their finest frozen treats!

2019 Let Them Eat Art – July 12

This Friday, venture to Maplewood for a celebration of all things art. This evening extravaganza entails everything from live art-demonstrations and musical performances to kids’ activities and shopping. Don’t worry about food and drinks – they’ve got you covered, as Maplewood’s finest award-winning food purveyors will be in attendance! Free, 6-11 pm.

2019 Art Hill Film Series: Black Panther – July 12

This Friday, Forest Park is kicking off the 10th year of their Art Hill Film Series with Academy Award-winner, Black Panther. With this year’s theme being “dream team,” we can hardly think of a better movie to debut this month-long series. First, grab a bite to eat from one of the many food trucks, and then settle in for a night filled of fun and relaxation.

Sunflower Maze at Eckert’s – Opens July 13

Travel to the sprawling farm lands east of the Mississippi to Eckert’s in Belleville, home of the Metro-area’s first and only sunflower maze. Spanning five acres in total, this maze will unleash the inner wanderer in anyone. Also, it makes for a pretty awesome photo opportunity! While at Eckert’s, be sure to pick your own fresh peaches, blackberries, and summer vegetables to bring home for future snacking.

Garden Party Lights – Thursday-Sunday evenings

See the Botanical Gardens transform into a whimsical wonderland weekend nights this summer. Embark on the mile-long path as vibrant lights and music fill the night sky. Grab a cold beverage from the Biergarten, and enjoy the extravagant light show that has so many people talking. This family experience is the perfect way to savor a warm, summer night.
