Twangfest | June 5 – 8
Looking for Americana? Make your way to Off Broadway where this four day four-day festival has been celebrating the best in the region since 1997. This year’s headliners included Craig Fin + The Upton Controllers, James Mcmurtry, Sarah Shook, and Superchunk. Doors open at 7pm all four nights.
St. Louis Surge | June 8
St. Louis’ own St. Louis Surge are set to tip-off their 2019 home season on Saturday, June 8 at Washington University Field House Athletic Complex. This will also mark the 100th game for the organization as it enters into a new league, the Global Women’s Basketball Association (GWBA). Don’t miss out on any of the action and help cheer on the Surge at their upcoming home games!
Webster Arts Fair | June 7 – 9
Art is the star at the Webster Arts Fair in Webster Groves. Ranked the 77th in fine arts and fine crafts in the nation, this prestigious fair features 105 artists from all over the country. The fair also features entertainment, food and hands-on art activities for all ages.
Soap Box Derby & Custom Auto Show | June 9
Racers young and old will be competing in the 21st annual St. Louis Soap Box Derby on The Hill this weekend. Come see kids race soap box cars down Macklind Ave. approaching up to speeds of 35 mph! This tradition of soap box racing dates back to 1933 and is now a nationwide tournament. Come for the cars, stay for the food – Taste of The Hill will be selling tasty local treats!
