Thursday March 5, 2020

Below are five of the best ways to spend this weekend in St. Louis including the Eckert’s Wine and Food Festival, Missouri Valley Conference Basketball Tournament and more.

Art in Bloom | March 6–8

Art in Bloom, the Saint Louis Art Museum’s annual celebration of flowers and fine art. Dozens of works from the Museum’s collection will be imaginatively interpreted through floral design by the region’s most talented florists. In addition to the floral displays, the free festival includes floral presentations and lectures, family activities, dining, and shopping.

Wine and Food Festival | March 7

Enjoy wine, beer and spirits and more at the Eckert’s orchard best known for pick-your-own fruit. Revelers can sample more than 30 drinks while watching cooking demonstrations by a host of acclaimed local chefs showing how to make some of their most popular items. There will also be talks on beer-and-pie and beer-and-doughnut pairings and how to make the ultimate meat-and-cheese board.

Builders St. Louis Home & Garden Show | March 5–8

No matter your home improvement project this year, the 43rd Annual Builders St. Louis Home & Garden Show at the America’s Center Convention Complex is your one-stop-shop for everything you’ll need to get the job done right. Missouri Valley Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament | March 5–8

Arch Madness in St. Louis is here! The Enterprise Center welcomes the return of the State Farm MVC Men’s Basketball Championship. Ten teams will compete for an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

The Office! A Musical Parody | March 6–8

It’s a typical morning at Scranton’s third largest paper company until, for no logical reason, a documentary crew begins filming the lives of the employees of Dunder Mifflin. Don’t miss this hilarious, unauthorized parody of your favorite TV show, now coming to The Grandel Theatre! Mashable calls the show “the world’s most elaborate inside joke, created with a whole lot of love, just for fans.”
