It’s the last weekend of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month and you still have time to celebrate! Consider visiting the Missouri Botanical Garden to visit their Japanese Garden or the newest exhibit “Origami in the Garden.” The Saint Louis Art Museum also has popular galleries devoted to calligraphy and monochromatic art.
Head out to Eckert’s Country Store & Farms for their Memorial Day Weekend Festival. From 10 am to 5 pm, enjoy outdoor festival foods and live entertainment with your family and friends. Admission to the farm is free, but there is a fee charged for some activities.
Don’t miss the 51st Annual Lafayette Square Spring Virtual House Tour and Garden Tours. Virtually tour eight houses, four of which have never been seen throughout the event’s 51-year run and stroll through seven residential gardens full with blossoming flowers and fountains in a in person self guided tour tucked into the Lafayette Square neighborhood. Tickets are required.
Do you love nature films? This weekend “Into America’s Wild” will be opening at the Saint Louis Science Center. This film explores some of the most beautiful but little-known landscapes of North America and is narrated by Academy Award winner Morgan Freeman. Tickets are available now!
