Boo at the Zoo | Through October 30
Families can enjoy festive Halloween decorations, interactive storytellers, educational activities, kids’ games, hauntingly fun entertainment and more at the Saint Louis Zoo’s non-scary Halloween experience, Boo at the Zoo Nights, presented by SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. The event runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. every night through the end of October.
In Search of the Truth | October 17 – 19
Everyone has their version of the truth. What is yours? The “In Search of the Truth” is a global, interactive public art installation that asks participants to share their Truth in a recording booth inside a 16-foot-high, iconic, inflatable speech bubble. Inside the booth participants can record two minute long videos completing the statement, “The Truth is…” The videos will be selected and edited into a video.
Jimmy Buffet’s Escape to Margaritaville | October 18 – 20
USA Today and Entertainment Weekly have raved about Jimmy Buffet’s Escape to Margaritaville musical. This musical comedy featuring both original songs and your most-loved Jimmy Buffett classics, including “Fins,” “Volcano,” “Cheeseburger in Paradise” and many more. Celebrate your favorite briny bivalves at Riverfront Times’ 3rd Annual Shuck Yeah! on Sunday, October 20th from 11:30am-2:30pm. The Great Grilled Cheese-Off | October 19
It’s the ultimate comfort food. Compare eight local restaurants’ creations as they complete in the second annual Great Grilled Cheese-Off. Participating resturantes include Charlie Sprouts, Cardinals Nation, The World Cafe, Molly’s In Soulard, and more. Pair them with tomato bisque, Schlafly Beer, as well as a petting zoo and pony rides for the kids.
