The Great Forest Park Balloon Race | September 20 – 21
The Great Forest Park Balloon Glow and Race is one of the biggest events of the year. It all begins with the Balloon Glow on Friday evening at Central Fields in Forest Park from 7-9 p.m. Fireworks will follow at 9:15. After dark, the grounded balloons will be lit. On Saturday, everyone returns to Forest Park for the big race and live entertainment at noon. There will be also an entertainment area for families.
The Greater St. Louis Hispanic Festival | September 20 – 22
Take in the sizzling sounds of Hispanic music with live Latino bands. The annual event will also feature Hispanic Folkloric dancers, over 70 booths and the Los Ninos Kids Corner with Dora the Explorer & Diego. This is the largest Hispanic celebration in the St. Louis area!
Thomas & Friends: Explore the Rails! | September 21 – January 5
Peep! Peep! Thomas & Friends: Explore the Rails is pulling into The Magic House’s station beginning this weekend! Climb inside Thomas’ cab, fix Percy’s wobbly wheels, pull levers for train noises and more as you explore scenes from the Island of Sodor.
Bacon and Brunch Festival | September 22
More than a dozen of St. Louis’ favorite bars, restaurants and food trucks will be serving up a variety of Instagram-worthy dishes and quenching your thirst with mimosas, classic boozy brunch beverages and bacon-infused cocktails. All this and more at Ballpark Village.
South Grand Fall Fest | September 21
The South Grand Business District will be hosting their Sixth annual Fall Festival on September 21. With shopping, live music and family activities, Fall Fest on South Grand Blvd is a can’t-miss event for all ages – and it’s free.
