Thursday January 18, 2018

Happy Friday! It’s time for another fun-filled weekend in St. Louis. If you are pulling your plans together for the weekend, here are 5 things to do this weekend to help plan.

St. Louis Mardi Gras: Family Winter Carnival | January 20

The Family Winter Carnival is a chance for everyone to get into the Mardi Gras spirit. There are live performances, arts and crafts and a children’s parade. The carnival is held at Soulard Market Park.

The School of Rock | January 16 – 28

Based on the hit film, this hilarious new musical follows Dewey Finn, a wannabe rock star posing as a substitute teacher who turns a class of straight-A students into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band. This high-octane smash features 14 new songs from Andrew Lloyd Webber, all the original songs from the movie and musical theater’s first-ever kids rock band playing their instruments live on stage at the Fabulous Fox Theatre.

Art of Live Festival | January 18 – 20

The Art of Live Festival brings together St. Louis’ finest bands with national touring acts and scatters the shows at venues all over town. Sleepy Kitty and Hinds kick things off Thursday night at Old Rock House. The weekend features Diane Coffee, Ratboys and The Potomac Accord at The Ready Room; a solo gig from Lee Ann Womack at The Old Rock House; and Bruiser Queen and Tristen at Off Broadway.

Hot Country Nights – Chris Janson

Get your country with New Country 92.3 Hot Country Nights presented by Ford! National recording artists Chris Janson returns to Ballpark Village Friday, January 19th. Don’t miss hearing his hit songs “Buy Me A Boat”, “Holdin’ Her”, and “Fix a Drink” being performed on the FOX Sports Midwest Live! stage!

St. Louis Blues Hockey Game | January 20

The Saint Louis Blues take on the Arizona Coyotes at Scottrade Center at 7pm at Scottrade Center.
