Circus Flora: The Case of the Missing Bellhop | April 19 – May 13

“The Case of the Missing Bellhop” makes its under The Big Top this weekend, as Circus Flora transports audiences to the famous Balding Hotel – a getaway for dignitaries and nobility from around the globe. At this exclusive hotel, staff and crew have unusual skills, and people go about their business with no questions asked. But when a beloved bellhop goes missing, the Balding begins to attract attention, secrets proliferate, and questions abound! What happened to the bellhop, and who knew about it?

Chinese Culture Days | April 21 – 22

The Missouri Botanical Garden celebrates Chinese culture this weekend with its annual Chinese Culture Days.  The annual springtime festival kicks off with a Grand Parade led by a 70-foot dancing dragon, featuring acrobatics, square dances, tea and cooking demonstrations, traditional artwork and authentic regional cuisine.

St. Louis Earth Day Festival | April 21 – 23

Shake 38 | April 18 – 22

The annual celebration of Shakespeare in the Streets returns this weekend.  SHAKE 38 gives Shakespeare back to St. Louis residents, artists, performers, and fans of his work in a marathon celebration of the Bard’s 38 plays. Since its first year in 2010, SHAKE 38 has grown from a 38-hour performance by 200 artists to a five-day event attracting over 1,500 artists from across the region and dozens of diverse community partners. Only one rule exists for participants: Make the play happen any way you see fit. The result is a dazzling array of events across the St. Louis area, designed for a variety of audiences to enjoy.

LagerFest | April 22

Sample ‘lagers of the past’ at Urban Chestnut’s first annual LagerFest on Sunday, April 22! They’ve invited breweries from across the country renowned for their world-class lagers to brew different historical versions for this year’s kickoff! Learn about the style firsthand with around twenty, unique, historical lagers to try!  In addition to ‘historic’ lagers, the fest will feature a variety of food available for purchase and live music including Bolzen Beer Band!
