SLAM Underground | April 27

Destination Moon: The Apollo 11 Mission | Through September 3
The Space Race returns to St. Louis with the Saint Louis Science Center exhibit ‘Destination Moon: The Apollo 11 Mission’. The SLSC was chosen as one of only four science museums in the country to display this exhibit from the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum. The exhibition will feature the intact Apollo 11 command module Columbia, as well as more than 20 other one-of-a-kind artifacts from the historic mission. 2018 U.S. Chess Championship | Through April 30
See the elite national championship event, featuring 12 of the strongest chess players in America. Over the course of eleven rounds, these competitors will battle for $194,000 in prize money, qualification into the World Championship cycle, and the coveted title of 2018 U.S. Champion at the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of St. Louis.
