St. Louis Filmmakers Showcase | July 13 – July 22

The nonprofit St. Louis Cinema is presenting its annual presentation! This showcase will display pieces that were written, directed, edited, or produced by natives of St. Louis with solid local ties. The program will have a wide variety of films from full-length fiction features and documentaries to multi-film compilations of fiction and documentary shorts. The 2018 event will take place over two consecutive weekends in Brown Hall on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis. Come out and watch great films this Friday!

Sauce Food Truck Friday | July 13, 2018

Gather your friends, grab a picnic blanket and head to Food Truck Friday in Tower Grove Park! Try food from more than 20 food trucks and sip local beer and wine while you enjoy live music. This will be available from 4 pm to 8 pm!

2018 St. Louis Brewers Heritage Festival | July 14, 2018

The 12th Annual St. Louis Brewers Heritage Festival is the premiere showcase of the St. Louis beer scene. This festival features over 100 styles of beer from over 50 greater STL area breweries, home brew club tastings, live music, and great food all in a pleasant setting at the foot of the Grand Basin in Forest Park. This is an event you don’t want to miss!

Golf the Galleries: Artist-Designed Mini Golf | July 14, 2018

Tee off at the Sheldon Art Galleries this summer at “Golf the Galleries,” a playable, artist-designed, nine-hole mini golf installation. Designed to be family-friendly and accessible, the course combines the visual arts with the fun of mini golf to create a truly unique experience. The winning entries include Maker-Sponsors: Arcturis, Cannon Design, SWITCH and World Chess Hall of Fame and individual artists and teams: Gray for Scale, Charles Houska, Justin King, Natalie Pinson and B.J. Vogt. Come out and enjoy a wonderful day of golf from 11 am to 4 pm!

DCI Midwestern Championship | July 15, 2018

The DCI Midwestern Championship featuring bands from across the Midwest is presented by DeMoulin Bros. and Co. For nearly half a century, Drum Corps International has been the leader in showcasing the world’s most elite marching ensembles for student musicians and performers. If you like marching bands, this is the event for you!
