Designed to be family-friendly and accessible, the course combines the visual arts with the fun of mini golf to create a truly unique experience. The winning entries include Maker-Sponsors: Arcturis, Cannon Design, SWITCH and World Chess Hall of Fame and individual artists and teams: Gray for Scale, Charles Houska, Justin King, Natalie Pinson and B.J. Art Hill Film Series: Hidden Figures | July 20, 2018
Come out and visit one of Forest Parks most iconic and expansive locations. Art Hill is home to summer picnics, winter sledding, film series, and much more. This particular film tells a story of three brilliant African-American mathematicians who served a vital role in NASA during the early years of the U.S. space program. The party begins at 6 pm and the film begins at 9 pm.
SciFest: One Giant Leap | July 21, 2018
SciFest has returned with their second yearlong series of expos designed specifically for St. Louis families. On July 21, 1969, Apollo 11 left the surface of the moon for its return trip to Earth. Celebrate the historic moon landing, and meet local experts in aviation, aerospace and planetary science. If you are interested in discovering a new hobby, becoming an engineer, or meeting real professionals to learn about what’s out there in the field of science and technology, than this is the event for you! The fun starts at 9:30 am and ends at 5:30 pm.
