2018 St. Louis Microfest | May 4 – 5
The St. Louis Microfest is a two-day event. All three sessions will offer craft and international beers. Your admission to a session of the Microfest includes a tasting glass – which allows you to sample a variety of beers from over 125 international and craft brewers while listenening to music by popular groups. You can also see beer and food pairings, cooking demonstrations and brewing discussions in our Demonstration Tent.
An annual tradition, with a long history, Cinco De Mayo: A Cherokee Street Festival has evolved into a celebration of community and one of the largest and most diverse festivals in the St. Louis area. The festival will pack Cherokee Street with people enjoying authentic food, drinks, music, entertainment. We strive to support as many artists as possible through this event, focusing on diverse talent that reflects the attendees and multicultural backgrounds of the artists and residents that are a part of this community.
Porch Fest STL 2018 | May 6
PorchFestSTL is back for its second year! 20 BANDS – 10+ PORCHES. Porches and public spaces become stages for local bands of many genres. Join hundreds of St. Louisians, wander from porch to porch, and enjoy music of all genres in the Skinker DeBaliviere community.
St. Louis Storytelling Festival | May 2 – 5
Bobby Norfolk, Gayle Ross, and David Gonzalez are just a few of the talents who will mesmerize audiences at what’s become the largest free storytelling festival in the world. The pre-festival started last week; now things go into high gear, with workshops at storytelling sites including multiple branches of the St. Louis Public Library and St. Louis County Library. There will be all kinds of storytelling performances across the region. The finale, on Sunday night at the Touhill Performing Arts Center, includes a showcase of all the festival’s featured storytellers.
